Living in a community where college isn’t always on the radar isn’t stopping Samantha Moreno from giving her peers the tools to succeed. That’s why she serves as a peer leader who leads workshops in her school on how students can prepare to apply for college. Jordan Romero was already on top of the world before he got a drivers license. At 13 years old, he made history as the youngest person ever to climb Mount Everest—the highest peak in the world at more than 29,000 feet.
