The Boys & Girls Clubs of America is a national organization with local chapters that provide after-school programs for youths to build “a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.”

With many visual arts programs in public schools in decline, Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica CEO Tim Blaylock said in a statement, “It’s more important than ever that we support outside programs like BGCA’s Digital Arts Festivals to help our youth develop an interest in technology and support the creation of a strong STEM workforce.”
